Talking about whatever I feel like talking about in games, sims or whatever…

Some content may be offensive to some readers or NSFW! proceed at your own risk! You have been warned! All nude images taken in Second Life were either done so at Second Life Adult or Moderate sites where nudity is allowed (or else can be easily gotten away with.)

The Dark Lady, Sylvanas Windrunner, but she’s not in World of Warcraft in this scene, she’s in a dark foreboding town in Second Life in this shot.

And here in Skyrim, I have Sylvanas Windrunner as my follower courtesy of a mod, of course.

An appropriate Skyrim poster hangs on the wall of my residence in Second Life at my prop “gaming station”. Ironic since I do use a lot of mods in Skyrim.

This third week of February 2017 has been my week of achievements- I finally got my Warglaives of Azzinoth on my Demon Hunter, who now, like my monk and rogue, also possess these cool legendary weapons from Illidan Stormrage and the Black Temple. Ironic in this case since Illidan is supposed to be the “big boss” of the Demon Hunters in WoW.

If getting my Warglaives of Azzinoth on my third toon wasn’t enough this week, getting level cap of 110 on my second toon, specifically my Outlaw Rogue, Yakusa, in Legion this week was a great achievement today. I’ve been slow this xpac, but I also had a 2 1/2 month absence from WoW due to medical reasons from October to December. So now I’m playing “catch up” with my characters and my game.

And I just gotta say it- I wish I could kill these stupid-ass Disney Alliance fruitcake pansy nature freaks in WoW. I won’t be questing in this zone on any more toons this xpac!

So fine, I took it out on a bunch of their stupid wanna-be pansy-ass “unicorns”.

I’d rather this be that stupid half-fawn centuarette.

Meanwhile… my gamer’s fantasy haven in Second Life– my personal residence, the downstairs is of course, a bar.

I just wish I could have a REAL Tron arcade machine like this instead of a Second Life prop. I remember those machines and when I used to pump quarters into those by the ton. So here sits this virtual model of one in my virtual bar.

On the other side of the bar area is a seating area, Skyrim and Horde posters, an axe on the wall… perfect for a fantasy and gaming nerd like me.

This was such a bad ass shot of a dragon in Skyrim that I had to shoot a screenshot of it and post it here.

Of course, after killing that dragon, my Dovahkiin, Nyrva, absorbs his power.

“Jaina Proudmore is a Dreadlord”

Searching for this on Google I found this cool image conception of a Fel-Corrupted Jaina Proudmore.

Confirmed: Jaina Proudmore is a Dreadlord!

Maybe she isn’t but considering the turn things have taken with her in the Legion expansion it’s possible she could join the Legion against the Horde and Alliance or just completely flip out.

Of course, as shown here, there is always the possibility that Jaina Proudmore is really the Dread Pirate Roberts instead!

This is the Skyrim version of my character Nyrva, donning Forsworn armor. I would very much love to find a way to somehow recreate this avatar for import into Second Life just to have my “Dovahkiin” version of Nyrva in there. However, since she’s made up entirely from mods and isn’t created unless the game is live I’m not sure how one would do this.

This prop made by a Second Life user features coins, a coin purse, and wine bottles from Skyrim. When I asked about it (out of interest of how to get this stuff imported into Second Life) they became offended, evasive and defensive. I guess I can look to no help from them, huh?

I wasn’t sure the above prop was from Skyrim until I zoomed in on the coins, and sure enough.

I decided to take a shot at making my own replicas of the Gold Septims from Skyrim in Second Life. While not perfect they aren’t too bad if I do say so myself.

Gold Septim coins in Skyrim. I’m always looting these.

I have the Gold Septims on the counter of the bar at my residence in Second Life.

Being the hobbyist I am, this is my original artwork of my own original character, Nyrva Dragonwood, where the young Wood Elf woman is depicted as being nude and pregnant. I haven’t yet decided if she gets pregnant in the novel I am writing that has her in it, that’s still in the air. But I have done conceptual artwork of her pregnant nonetheless. I did this in pencil then scanned into my computer and colored in Photoshop. The background is original stock photography shot by me.

And here is my Second Life avatar version of Nyrva depicted as a pregant Wood Elf . Why? Do I need to explain myself? I figure to explore all possibilities of this character’s life in the form of role play, but it’s just for personal entertainment, and also it helps me with my creative fiction ideas. I suppose in this case it’s creating a 3D virtual version of what I have created in art form.

Here is my own artwork of my original Wood Elf character Nyrva Dragonwood, sitting naked on a log in the forest. As always I drew her with pencil and colored in Photoshop. And the background is original stock I phototgraphed and own. Nyrva is a character I created in 1998 and actually have copyrights on, so anything I do with her on this site is either part of that or a derivative work.

Nyrva Dragonwood is captured by a fertility cult, forcing her into unwanted ritual sex for the purpose of breeding her against her will. The idea is that the cult has captured Nyrva and intends to use her as “breeding stock”, and to force her to reproduce and bear a child. For what purpose the child would be used for of course would not be known. But the major problem is that it’s a group of Forest Elves who have captured this young Wood Elf and intend to breed her against her will. (Forest Elves and Wood Elves are usually friendly with each other – and are essentially “cousin” races.) It is not decided if this will be used in the story or not and if so to what degree, but this is concept art for the idea. Other variations of this drawing, including a fertility cult member forcing himself on Nyrva have been done. I’ve used face crops of this drawing for a profile pic which is why in close ups of that pic she doesn’t exactly look happy. But I just like the detail of color on her face in the picture crop which is why I use it.

Here is a crop of Nyrva’s face from the same drawing. I feel like it makes a great face icon image of her despite her expression so that’s why I’ve used it. But most people don’t know (unless they’ve seen the full art) that Nyrva is strapped to a table with her vagina exposed.)

This is also from another series of conceptual drawings I did of Nyrva: Nyrva Dragonwood’s quest to reach the old ruins of her own tribe of elven people fails when she meets some thugs on the road. While they don’t kill the Wood Elf they strip her of everything she has including her clothes, leaving only a few meager coins in her hand for her journey home. Apparently the thieves weren’t interested in her death, just her clothes, and everything else she was carrying. But now she has to journey home in the nude. In this scene she has just awakened to this apparent reality.

Meanwhile, I’ll just let Nyrva enjoy her coffee. She’s not kidnapped by anyone right now. This is a drawing I did back in 2009 originally of my character, Nyrva Dragonwood, drinking coffee. Her outfit was originally white but I later re-colored it “Wood Elf” green. She was originally to appear in a bar-like scene drinking with her friends; something I still hope to do. I still consider this drawing of my official “poster girl” shots of Nyrva, but I hope to do a revised one.

An avatar based on my original character Nyrva Dragonwood as a nude Gaia avatar, as conceptualized via the late Tek-tek.org – I only wish that site was still in business.

This is a drawing I did where I visualized my character Nyrva Dragonwood as a catgirl or neko girl instead of a wood elf. Pencil and Photoshop for Nyrva, the background is original stock photographed by me.

As shown in previous posts, here is my Skyrim version or visualization of Nyrva, except I wish she had long-ass hair. But I love the bangs and the side hair.

My avatar of Nyrva’s younger sister, Raiya, sitting nude in a public setting in Second Life.

Another shot of Raiya sitting nude in a public setting in Second Life.

And yet another shot of Raiya nude in a public setting in Second Life.

Here Raiya is shown donning her uniform, and enjoying a Guinness, while serving in the capacity of a Starfleet Lieutenant, at “Starfleet Command” (TOS/The Motion Picture Era) in Second Life.

Raiya is in a roleplay here with a nice group of people who play in a post-TNG era Star Trek RP. She is 130 years from her original time of TOS in the story (but hasn’t changed much in appearance as elves live several centuries and show their age very slowly). I am not as much a fan of this kind of Trek, as I prefer the old Star Trek, but these guys make it fun so it’s well worth it.

Poor Raiya – This is her 130 years later, still not looking any older (since members of her elven race take a long time to show age and live several centuries) but she is captured with her crewmates and frozen by an evil villain in a stasis tube.

An evil scientist has captured Raiya and a couple shipmates and put them in stasis tubes to absorb their souls from their body for the life energy. Will Raiya escape or die here? (Roleplay in Second Life)

This would be my Orion Slave girl character nude in a public place in Second Life.

Another casual nude shot of my Orion Slave girl. This character was completely custom-made using various elements and an avatar in Second Life. (and if CBS wants to make this an issue, then she’s just a nude girl wearing green body paint)

While we’re at it how about my Andorian female avie? Both my Orion Slave and Andorian female characters are custom jobs in Second Life. They use the same avatar body model as Nyrva and Raiya so naturally there will be some similarities in appearance.

How about another shot of my Andorian female character in the buff?

How about Mychelle naked in the same public place? This is not exactly like my drawings of my character Mychelle but this is my “Second Life” version of her.

This is my original artwork of my original character Mychelle Blackwood – she is fully human-like in my drawings except for her cat-like tail and ears. But my Second Life version of her gives her blue hair and a tail instead of green, and cat-like paws for hands and feet. The actual character in my fiction however is as she is shown here.

Another nude of my Second Life version of Mychelle.

Here’s another shot of my character Mychelle sitting butt naked in public.

Another original drawing of my own Mychelle Blackwood, original character- frontally nude. This drawing is merely designed to show her anatomy. As always, pencil for the original drawing, scanned and colored in Photoshop, and layered against original stock photography I shot myself.

This is my Tek-Tek.org conception of Mychelle, based on the Gaia Online design of avatars. I used Tek-Tek so I could make a nude anime version of her based on this design.

I am flying around in my small shuttlecraft in Second Life.

How about an exterior view of my little shuttle. It’s so fun to fly around with this thing.

And that’s all I have for this blog posting of my good, bad, and ugly for today. Be sure to stay tuned to this site for future posts. I may try to do shorter posts a little more often. This is so long because I haven’t done one in awhile.

Until next time. God bless!

General thoughts, World of Warcraft, Gaming, or whatever I feel like talking about…

Nyrva-Skyrim-11-12-15

My character “Nyrva” as played in Skyrim. At least Blizzard devs don’t have any say about what I get to do here.

Blizzard Does It Again

Just as the issue of flying in Warlords of Draenor, Blizzard once again seeks to dictate what our gaming experiences should be in Legion with limited “artifact” weapons.

wow_legion_1-e1439225957791

It’s Blizzard’s “Class Fantasy”, Not Yours!

Many may remember all the drama Blizzard devs recently caused all the fans and players of World of Warcraft in Warlords of Draenor over the issue of flying over the last 2+ years. It started with them saying we’ll get it in patch 6.1 at Blizzcon 2013, and by Bashiok, to “No Flying in 6.1”. But the Capital Hill politician-style waffle-iron flip-flopping doesn’t stop there as lead World of Warcraft game designer, Ion Hozzakostas, on Friday May 22, 2015, the friday of Memorial Day Weekend, drops the biggest bombshell of all when he announces; not through an official Blizzard website, but through a third-party website, Paragon, that we will never get to fly again in Warlords or any future World of Warcraft expansion.

Ion-Hazzakostas

Needless to say this announcement caused a major backlash among the user fan base, resulting in 10 major Battle.net forum threads, tons of messages on Twitter, a boat ton of commentary and fan videos on YouTube- resulting in Blizzard eventually having to backtrack and compromise allowing flying provided certain in-game conditions were met. And admittedly, while I think a bit excessive, not entirely unreasonable to say “do this content, you get to fly” but it unlocked flying on all characters. But the controversy didn’t end there- to this day there is no clearly defined timeline on when players will be able to unlock flying in Legion, just that it will “work similar” to “Warlords”. Stay tuned…

If Taking Flying Away Wasn’t Bad Enough…

Ion-Hazzakostas-shutup

Welcome to Legion where the BLIZZARD DEVS decide your “Class Fantasy”!

Legion is the newly announced expansion, hastily announced, seemingly, in response to severely sagging subscription numbers last summer, which Blizzard has since stated they are no longer going to make public.  It was announced last summer at Gamescon in Europe before a seemingly unenthusiastic crowd by their “usual suspects” in crime- Ion Hozzakostas, Alex Afrasiabi, and Dave Kosak.  The very three devs who stirred the pot on the flying issue and upset a lot of people were put center stage for this annoncement. Nowhere did we see Chris Metzen who was better suited to stir excitement about an expansion if anyone could do it. And Blizzard gave a mere 4 hours to WoW for Blizzcon 2015, so they paid their biggest game mere lip service while propping up other shit games of theres like Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm, and other copycat games of theirs they apparently expect to eventually replace WoW with apparently. Meanwhile they’re buying up Candy Crush and other shit games while releasing minimal content for Warlords- consisting of more Facebook-style clicky garrison mission crap. We all know the failures of Warlords.

The lack of substantive content in patch 6.1 inspired satirical videos such as this one.

So we’re going to trust these three devs to provide substantive content in Legion? We’ll see! They better or the party is over for the longest standing MMO in history.

So Here We Go Again Blizzard…

Just as you did with flying, Blizzard, you have set out to dictate and control what player  experience is with respect to what weapons they get to have on their characters based on the “Class Fantasy” (you guys are all the sudden fixated on this new fetish and term of yours) that YOU, not the player, have for our characters we are all paying $15 a month to play. And how? By assigning each character an artifact weapon with no other options other than that weapon. There will be no other weapons in Legion, and you will be stuck with this weapon type for the whole of Legion. You can transmog but only into the same weapon style that the item will transmog into. A Windwalker Monk fist weapon cannot transmog, let’s say, into a 1-handed sword or axe, you’re stuck with a fist weapon, period. Unless there is a major player-base uprising over this issue like there was about flying we’re stuck with whatever weapon designs the Blizzard devs, not we as players, think we should have. It’s their “class fantasy”, and not ours.

legion-paintynumber-weapons

Not to worry! Don’t like the item? You can use this nice, handy paint-by-number style system to just change the color and, voila! Now you have a weapon that’s different than your friend has! …not!

I’m getting the xpac myself, and I have mixed feelings not just because of this but because of all the recycling they seem to be doing of old content trying to make it new. But if this expansion is not just awesome from day one all the way through, I think Legion is where I will hang it up. And with subscription numbers the lowest they have been since Vanilla and Blizzard now concealing them from now on, I’m sure it will be the nail in the coffin for a lot of people if Legion doesn’t deliver, sadly.

Roleplaying in 2014

Roleplaying in 2014

Changes to World of Warcraft and Gaia Online, among other roleplay options, examined.

nyrvas-writing-2014rvsd-sm

First, I really don’t consider myself much of a roleplayer, except that I play RPGs and use my characters where I can, or just create characters based on existing models in a game. Just that it happens I use my own character, in this case, Nyrva Dragonwood, as an RP character in some games. And it’s just to use the character, I don’t roleplay her or talk in character, etc.

But I’ve been weighing my options in terms of my gaming and online entertainment.

nyrva-gaia-zomg2014

Gaia Online has ended, it seems, their longstanding run of Zomg. The game is no longer featured, accessible, or playable anywere on their site. Since that game is no longer available on Gaia online, I would presume all character data, items, achievements, and related play materials are all gone.

gaia-nyrvahouse-xmas2012

Gaia’s player housing is one of the only remaining options for using Gaia characters in a roleplay-type situation. But this is more like a virtual dollhouse rather than a game.

MiB-watching-Gaia

MiB-Insurance3 MIB-agent-51

One of my Gaia alts, “MIB Agent 51” with his vehicle at the “Rally” and his “Insurance Company”. This “undercover” agent I created is kind of a joke – especially since he stands out so much in this crowd of well-decorated characters. But he’s really in the “insurance business” and of course, is behind all the conspiracies we know all about, except that “they don’t exist”.

With the end of Zomg, there are no real online roleplay options for Gaia anymore. The only other roleplay for characters in Gaia is their “hangouts” like the “Rally” which are nothing more than a chatroom with Gaia dolls, rather than actually being a game. (Strangely, Gaia classifies and lists this as a “game” when it’s just a chat room.)  And they’ve now launched another site, Tentacl.com,  which I expect will be the end of Gaia Online itself, soon enough. The days of Gaia itself may very well be numbered if Tentacl is successful. Who knows. Honestly, I haven’t done much with Gaia at all in the last year. With the demise of Zomg, I rarely have any reason to go on the site anymore.

mychelle-tektek-fantasy1nyrva-tektek-hunter2014

Two original characters of mine as Gaia Sprites- Mychelle Blackwood (top) and Nyrva Dragonwood (bottom)

As for making custom avatars, I can achieve most of what I want via tektek.org as far as that goes.

World of Warcraft

WoWScrnShot_120614_021459 WoWScrnShot_120614_021557

Dual-boxing on World of Warcraft.  My Pandaren Windwalker Monk, Milwaukee (left) and my Blood Elf Beast Master Hunter, Nyrva (right) – at my monk’s garrison on World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.

I must say, despite criticism by many WoW fans, I rather enjoyed much of the lore behind Mists of Pandaria.

I am rather disappointed with the new expansion, Warlords of Draenor  — many of the features we were told would happen from Blizzcon 2013 never made it into the game. These include putting garrisons anywhere we wanted, capital cities for Horde and Alliance later changed to Ashran, tabs for BOAs and tabards — totally gone, no plans in sight. And they told us we’d get flying in 6.1 and how have gone back on that too, and told us no flying. But this didn’t come from a blue post on Battle.net. Rather, it was a hidden, clandestine, off-Blizzard site like Reddit, where they decided to finally reveal this. (I don’t pay attention to sites like Reddit and Twitter, etc. I feel like I shouldn’t have to police those sites to get relevant news about my games- that should come from the official source to me.) Blizzard seems to have very little credibility in terms of what they say they will do with their games as opposed to what they actually do with them.

WoWScrnShot_120814_172901

As for the new expansion? While I enjoyed the awesome cinematics and leveling, the endgame absolutely sucks. The terrain is a twisting maze of cliffs and canyons with “jump puzzles” similar to what you’d find in a Super Mario game. With the total removal of flying, and no hope for flying in sight, Blizzard actually expects people to not only level without flying (reasonable expectation), but they expect everyone to put up with 2 years of a 2 tier expansion that will now, apparently, have no flying. I suspect flying will no longer be allowed in any future World of Warcraft expansion as Blizzard’s way of cutting costs, and catering solely to the  demands of the “Vanilla WoW/hardcore” crowd.

As far as the whole flying issue goes on WoW, I love the blatant hypocrisy of those who are of the “anti-flying” crowd who have the audacity to want to force their play style on the pro-flying crowd but then have the nerve to use the in game “flight masters” or flying mounts of any kind in any of the old zones. Those people should only be allowed to own and use ground mounts.

Endgame sucks and is very limited. You can farm your garrison, do PvP, and wander through the terrain doing dailies like a Super Mario, jump-puzzle character. You don’t get to do dungeons or LFR if you don’t first do, and clear, the silver “Proving Grounds”. Otherwise you have to find people to pug with if you want to do instances. This won’t serve as any gate since people can join premades through the new in-game “oQueue” feature or sign up for runs on sites like Open Raid.

I love WoW overall but I hate the new expansion. The storyline (finishing off the Iron Horde, and developments with the Burning Legion aside) pretty much seems to end in Negrand where you finally kill Garrosh Hellscream.

SPOILER WARNING FOR VIDEO – DO NOT WATCH IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS!

I hope the next patches will have something of a redeeming quality to justify the changes, and especially, the “no flying” stance. (Not to mention I have spent $150 on store-bought mounts I can never fly on in the new content! Plus all the mounts I have farmed because they could fly. I’m peeved about this!)

I hope the next expansion will be some real quality material instead of a rehash, and reboot of previous expansion material as well. While I liked the revisit to the Burning Crusade content with some new twists, I’d prefer to see some all-new material, expecially with the changes to the Horde and the Alliance we saw at the end of Pandaria.

I am checking out some other games, just not wanting to put so much into WoW anymore. I will still play, but I will cancel it if they keep making boneheaded decisions as what they put out for content.

I’ve been trying out some other online games, in addition to exploring other single player options. I might even hook up my old Playstation 2 again for some of those games I haven’t yet finished.

That’s all for now. hope to post more soon!

God bless! 😀
