I haven’t done a blog in quite awhile. A lot of stuff has happened, a lot I could write about but then sometimes I just never know what I want to say, so I end up not writing anything. Probably not the best way to run a blog, but it’s my blog right?

Also be sure to check out my page on Twitter for my latest posts. There I pretty much say whatever is on my mind about pretty much… anything.

First, a public service announcement:

World of Warcraft “Friendly” Reminder:

Attention Alliance PVP Idiots! (most of which are bots anyways)

When in PvP Battlegrounds, keep your fat, grubby, disgusting, imperialistic, tin-pot dictator-serving, blue-blooded paws off my Azerite, carts, resources, bases, flags, and pretty much anything and everything else in there, just die when attacked. Thank you. And remember: You suck!

And stop fooking cheating and running bots! Learn how to actually play!

A Little Trip in the Virtual “Way Back” Machine…

It’s recently been occurring to me that Second Life makes it possible for me to, in a way, revisit one my favorite hangouts from back in the 80s, now long since gone in the real world. I’m building a model of one of my old favorite record stores, Mainstream Records and Tapes, which was located in a strip mall near 76th and Layton Ave in Milwaukee, WI. Now long-since gone. While I’m not building the strip mall, I’m rebuilding the store as it was inside the strip mall (as if you sectioned the store out of it) with the entrance to the store as you walked into the front entrance shared by 1 other store in their particular part of the small strip mall at the time. (It was a weird arrangement.)

This was one of the earlier shots. While I’m not using the actual front texture of the strip mall the store was in, I am using one of wood accents that characterized Mainstream, at least at this particular location. I was fortunate to find a Mainstream Records logo from back in those days for the front window. And of course, I had to find a “Ticketron” logo for the sticker on the window, since that was how you got concert tickets back in the 80s before Ticketmaster was a thing. I also found logos of two local rock radio stations from that era, WLZR LAZER 103 FM (they also had an AM simulcast but I don’t remember the channel anymore) and the late great 93 WQFM FM that rocked Milwaukee’s airwaves from 1973-1996 until their parent company, Shamrock Communications was bought out by Clear Channel (now iHeart Media) and they turned the once awesome rock station into a shitty “Smooth Jazz” station. (Kind of reminded me of in the movie “Airheads” when everyone found out “Rebel Radio” was becoming a shitty “easy listening” station.)

This was the beginnings of my rebuilding the store before adding any of the wood accent textures. I tried to build the interior layout of the store as I remembered it, as you walked in, up the steps to the riser in the store entrance, around the front counter, then into the store– all wood-accented. The sound of boards clunking and creaking under your feet, the smell of either “Sandalwood” or “Sex on the Beach” incense in the air– and it was always either Spiritual Sky or Gonesh Sticks, and they had a selection for those in the “Head Shop” in the back. (Hence the back room).

I don’t know if I have the wood accents correct. It has literally been over 2 decades or more since I was able to set foot in this place. But I’m trying to do it best as I remember. The front counter is as best as I can remember it. The front riser had steps that went down into the store and out the front entrance. Out on the floor were the record racks, and even on the right edge of the riser and down on the floor next to the riser were racks of records. On the left wall next to the counter were the cassette racks, and on the opposite wall that I remember, a wall of t-shirts for sale. Not to mention album flats all over the walls and so forth. So at this point will be the real work, making the record and cassette racks (I don’t remember how CDs were, and CDs weren’t really a thing until the late 80s that I recall). I also have to figure out how to do the “tshirts” on the wall. So I got a little work to do. But I will share the progress on this model as it develops.

This I could not help doing. For one of the old record crates I found a logo for “Peaches Records & Tapes” – another long-since defunct local record store. I applied the texture to this record crate I bought in Second Life from the Marketplace. For reasons I cannot explain, it would not be unusual for a store like Mainstream to end up with a crate like this in their store (maybe due to purchased assets from the store’s closure, who knows) but I definitely plan to have at least 1 record crate in this store with this little nod to Peaches Records & Tapes also.

This was another must- I took another record crate and applied an image of the old 93QFM Hometown Album project as a texture shown here. I definitely want this to have all the feel of the old Mainstream Records and definitely an homage to 80s Milwaukee Pop Culture.

I will have more to share on the development of this model in future blogs.

Antares Class Starship Build – Second Life

For my Second Life Star Trek TOS roleplay, I’m building an RP model Antares class freighter ship. But since I’m not building it to scale I’m not fully able to follow the internal schematics to the degree that I’d like, so I find I have to improvise. In either case, the ship is being build for group roleplay rather than to be an exact model of the ship from the “Charlie X” episode. So my interior design my differ from the actual schematics and also somewhat from the design from the show to a certain extent. Still this has been a fun project.

My character, Nyrva, who serves as my main Second Life character (and my building character) standing on the bridge of the ship, which, due to the size of the model, is not the small “bridge” dome on top, but rather, inside the “head” section of the forward part of the ship.

Here is my character, Nyrva, standing in front of consoles I made for the bridge of my Antares ship. a science console on the left, and a standard operational console on the right. Some textures I got from other people, but I made the “control” textures myself. I also made the little “comm” boxes on the panels. Another friend made the screens with the “rounded” corners that I fixed to my consoles- the pictures actually change when you click on them. I also made the overhead screens shown in the picture.

I did a little improvising in the engineering area and made a sort of TOS-version of a “plasma” warp generator. I’m not sure if such a thing could have existed in the TV show era, so I suppose this is a little bit of a license I’m taking on my part.

Now outside the main bridge area, looking down towards the rear of the ship, and down the main corridor of the main deck.

In this shot I have my character standing on the main deck of the ship, with the camera angled down the turblolift shaft of the ship in the main body section. There are 6 decks in the main body. Plenty of space for a small group roleplay; maybe 10-14 people. But most groups are usually smaller anyways.

There’s a half-circle part on the aft section of the ship, so I just made this room in it. Not sure what should really go in here. I suppose anything technical for ship operations.

I decided to make the entire tail section “Engineering” related. So I built these walk-in cages for equipment, consoles, or other components, complete with walk-up ramps to get in and out.

Here is a full side view of my Antares ship. Much of the work is done, so this is probably 90% complete at this stage. The middle section, the upper portion is not exactly as the TV show, but I did not know how to cut the prims exactly to match the shapes. However since this is an RP ship I was more concerned with people being able to roleplay inside than making it look like an exact model. I hope at some point I can start learning programs like Blender so I can do better at rendering correct shapes for some of my builds; Particularly some of the more difficult shapes you find from shows like Star Trek.

Personal RP pursuits

Nyrva Dragonwood – Second Life edition of “She-elf’s quest failed” – Nyrva stripped and left drugged and naked by thieves in the forest. This is a Second Life version of my fantasy from this story idea.

Nyrva Dragonwood original drawing of “Quest Failed” – thugs who robbed, stripped her, and left her laying in the woods just shy of her entering the very ruins she came to see– the ruins that once belonged to her elven clan virtually destroyed in the great wars against the Dark Elves of her land. She now has the choice of continuing to venture on, or turning back home, several days journey on foot: either choice in nothing more than her birthday suit and whatever water, food, and shelter she can find along the way. I never fully decided if I was going to use this in the novel or not, and I never decided on the outcome other what her survival outcome would be. Plenty of details I would want to iron out for this part of the story if I did use it in the novel. But here is the concept art, and I did a few drawings based on this scene. I used a photograph of real woods I took at a park for this picture, so I own both the original artwork and the stock imagery.

A “aerial” view of the same scene with Nyrva laid out on the forest ground. She hasn’t yet awakened from the chloroform-like drug yet to discover her current set of circumstances. This would be my “Second Life” version of another drawing I did similar to this scene.

This is an overhead view drawing I did of Nyrva Dragonwood laid out in the forest, again after being drugged by thieves and stripped of all her clothing and provisions. Since Nyrva is one of the main characters of course I elected not to have her killed, but simply placed in this situation. And I’m not entirely decided if I will use this part or not depending on how well it comes out after I rewrite the scene and how it plays out. If I can make the circumstances and the outcome developed well enough to my liking and interesting enough to read. It can’t just be about a lone elf woman stripped and left for dead in the middle of the forest. There has to be some development to the scene and it has to flow with other parts of the story. I make no apologies about making her nude for the scene. It is simply a situation that happens to the character. But she is neither killed or raped, just drugged, stripped and left as you see her. The thieves simply see no purpose in killing her. Admittedly my drawing style could use quite a bit of refinement but I’ve always been a cartoonist, so that’s my drawing style.

Facial recognition fail!

I did an experiment with my iPhone with the picture of this woman and my Second Life version of Nyrva. My Apple iPhone actually thinks this woman (who is just some woman whose picture I found on the web – otherwise no relation whatsoever, just some naked woman off the internet) is the same as my Second Life version of “Nyrva”. It actually identifies her face as being the same person. It’s really kind of creepy in a way since I don’t know who this person is other than some nude woman off the web. And it just makes me think they have a lot of bugs to work out in these things before facial recognition is used for far more serious purposes, such as to identify people for law enforcement purposes. Either that or I can hire this woman to play my character if I were to need an actress to play “Nyrva” in a live action movie featuring the character.

Nyrva Dragonwood trapped in Dimension Zero – Second Life Edition – This was another story concept idea I had for Nyrva where she is captured by a dimensional guardian for her intrusion into the forbidden Valley of Mystics and she is imprisoned for a time in this strange dimensional universe, though not physically harmed. It’s occurring to me how some of my artistic concepts I’ve done in drawings can now be realized through the 3D model sandbox format of Second Life. It’s the same pose I used for my drawings in both the “elf quest failed” and “Dimension Zero”, so it’s the same pose and camera angle for these two pictures as well. Additionally I was able to find a foreboding checkerboard environment for “Dimension Zero” as well as build a forest scene for my other picture.

Original concept drawing: Nyrva Dragonwood in Dimension Zero – one of my original drawing concept ideas, this was the checkerboard world version. I’ve used this particular drawing of Nyrva for a few instances but I’ve also had a couple variations of “Dimension Zero” – which is really a sort of “null space” world that means nothing in the context of normal time and space. For all intents and purposes, Nyrva, though still alive, is kind of put into a world that technically doesn’t exist, that serves as a prison realm for her. The dimensional guardian that places her here uses this place as a non-lethal means of punishing those who violate the forbidden lands. Such persons are simply banished for a time to this “non-world” realm. (If that doesn’t totally make sense that’s OK. I’m not really sure it’s supposed to.) I own the stock imagery for this also since I created it in Photoshop along with the original artwork of my character.

Second Life – Nyrva Dragonwood’s Journey Home – this would be a Second Life version of Nyrva’s journey back home after losing all her money, clothes, provisions, and personal weapons to thugs while on the way to see the ruins that belonged to her people. She must now journey home relying on her best survival skills to stay alive under these conditions.

Nyrva Dragonwood heading home through the woods after her failed quest. She decided it would be better to head home adter being stripped of her clothes, money, and all her provisions. She knew it was dangerous no matter what she did, and that she was in a very vulnerable position either way – without her personal weapons for defense, all she has is her hand-to-hand fighting skills (of which she is decent, but clearly not a master against an ardent opponent) and her birthday suit for “armor”. She must now find whatever water, food and shelter she can along the way, even engaging in petty theft if she must when she can, to survive the 4 to 5 day trip on foot home. In this shot, I couldn’t tell you what she’s doing. Maybe her foot itches. The forest road isn’t exactly easy on bare feet. I own both the original artwork and stock imagery since I drew/created/shot both.

This was one drawing I did of my character, Nyrva Dragonwood, pregnant and I’ve shown it before. But I never could decide if I wanted her to be a mother or not, at least in the 2 novels I was planning to write that the character is one of the main characters of. If I did take this route it might be in a third story where she is not such a central character and she has moved on to a more “settled down” phase of her life where she had married and sought to raise a family or something, but I’m not sure I want to do this in her main story arc or not. I created and own both the character art and stock imagery for this picture. What I want to do with her in this case is still up in the air. But I leave my options open about what to do with my characters.

There was one idea I had toyed with briefly that involved having Nyrva Dragonwood kidnapped by some weird fertility cult to be used as breeding stock. The idea is that the cult uses Wood Elf females, breeds them against their will, and takes the elven babies from the mothers then and has them out for sale or trade on the black market. (I’ve actually read about stranger things that have happened in real life situations.) The only problem with this idea is that it is more dark and twisted than I really want to get with the story, and if there isn’t really any benefit to the rest of the story with respect to the character of Nyrva then there wouldn’t be any point in using it. But perhaps this might be material for some side book full of dark, twisted, side tales if I ever chose to do one. Still this kind of idea is still a bit creepy, even for me. But I drew this after reading of some really weird real life accounts even more bizarre than what I’ve just described as a possible story plot. But I’m not really into the idea of using women as chattel property, as kinky as this drawing might seem to some. (i.e. “tie me up and f**k me!” lol!) Once again, I created and own both the original artwork and original stock in this picture. I did not create a Second Life version of this fantasy, and… I’m fine with only the drawing.

As long as I mention the idea of dark and twisted side stories this is more an idea I would consider – I always had an idea for a side story involving vampires that wouldn’t impact the main story. I would simply write it in such a way to be an alternate story, or someone’s dream or something like that. But I thought it would be a fun idea to have some kind of Vampire Story with my characters. This was original artwork I did for the idea – Nyrva does not fare so well in this story, ends up being sucked dry by one of her own friends who falls prey to the infectious plague. Perhaps I may do a Second Life Machinima of this story as well if I get it written.

I did this drawing of Nyrva as a model pose for a possible figure I’d like to have made of her – just a figure of her casually laying nude on her stomach. I created and own both the artwork and stock imagery in this picture.

I have yet to do a Second Life fantasy of this one – just my classic “Nyrva Drinking Coffee” shot. This has always been one of my “poster girl” drawings of Nyrva.

Nyrva Dragonwood awakens in Dimension Zero. The dimensional guardian tells her why she is in this place and how long she will remain his prisoner. But she is promised to be provided for and to be returned to her world when her sentence is up.

Nyrva Dragonwood in the dojo practicing a little elven martial arts. She is not the most ardent fighter when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, yet, but she’s managing to learn her kicks.

Another shot of Nyrva practicing in the dojo. Only thing is I’m looking at the position of the kick and how the left foot twists. And I’m wondering if the left foot really twists that far the other way with such a kick and if the designer of this karate animation took this into account when they designed the animation? Hard to say.

Someone tell Oxhorn that the Panda Exterminator has been busted! He won’t be killing any more pandas!

Here is my original character, Nystasha, at a table with Nyrva, a few Pandaren, a Tauren, some games, cards, beer, and the stakes are high. Who will take home all the gold tonight? (In the background just some elven NPC).

Nyrva in the USS Milwaukee mess room. She can’t decide what kind of donut she wants from the donut replicator.

Nyrva at the bar on my ship, the USS Milwaukee. Yes, the K-7 bar was a must on my ship, so I built one. I changed the colors a bit but it’s the same bar that was on the original “Tribbles” episode. I also made the beer dispensers that I put on the bar. As a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin I make one simple rule: No fooking “synthetic booze” on my ship!

These are the two beer dispensers I made for my ship, and just for general roleplay use, and they actually dispense little bottles of beer I made that correspond to the brands on the handles. I just put in fantasy versions of real beers that I like. I don’t sell these at all, I made this just for roleplay. I modeled the Hofbrau dispenser after an actual picture of one I saw on the web – though it’s not exact, I got it as close as I could for Second Life, so it’s probably 20% off from how the original looks.

Here is a shot from my TOS Star Trek RP group in Second Life. We recently did an RP at the SciFi Expo in Second Life benefitting Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.

Another shot from earlier in the same RP session at the SciFi Expo RP we did.

Here Nyrva sits in the briefing room of my ship, the USS Milwaukee. I got the table from a friend, the chairs from another source, as well as the banners. But I built the table consoles as well as the consoles on the right and far walls. I either make stuff that looks like the original TV show, or looks like it could fit on the original TV show. There are many in Second Life who sell Trek-related stuff they make. I am not one of them. I only make stuff for personal use. And I give my stuff for free to friends or other roleplayers for personal use only and for roleplay.

World of Warcraft and Second Life?

My Pandaren rogue in Second Life? Or am I playing with WoW Model Viewer? I’ll never tell! But I thought this Fantasy airship in Second Life with the Asian theme would be a great setting for a “Pandaren” air or starship. I figure “Legion” has opened the door to Azeroth space travel with the silly space goats, and there’s all the “titan” tech sitting around so why not?

I think I might have to buy me this ship. Seeing my panda rogue in this scene almost sells me on the “Pandaren Starship” idea. I’ll have to think it over.

Here I have my original character Nyrva (Second Life version) with my rogue from World of Warcraft. But I’ll never say how I do these shots. That’s “privileged” information. But this was shot on a location in Second Life.

Nystasha – another original wood elf character of mine created and shown here in Second Life in the form of this digital model.

Star Trek TOS Lives in Second Life

I don’t need JJTrek, I don’t need Discovery! #NotMyTrek Not as long as I can do my own stuff in Second Life. These are two model ships I shot against a star field. I use this stuff only for personal use, and even build some of my own Star Trek stuff for personal use. I don’t sell it at all. Since you can’t look to CBS or Paramount and since I’m sure most people who watch those and play Star Trek Online think Chris Pine is the original Captain Kirk (and probably don’t know what William Shatner is famous for), I figure this is the best way to do it– play it on Second Life.

I’m also a huge fan of fan shows like Star Trek: New Voyages and Star Trek Continues. The Orville is also high on my list- even thought it’s not “Trek” by name, it still very much is like watch the old show- just as a sort of “TNG sequel” with a few dick jokes.

Second star to the right… and straight on until morning! (I didn’t have a better caption! This is just a cool Enterprise shot I made)

Nyrva Dragonwood wearing a TOS Star Trek-style uniform. This is aboard my roleplay ship, the USS Milwaukee – Archer Class, registry number NCC-005. The registry I used doesn’t necessarily follow the normal conventions of Star Trek registry numbers, but I took the registry number from the real US naval shop of the same name, but with the registry LCS-5 and simply adopted it for my ship. And I also thought it would be a nice salute to the men and women aboard that fine vessel.  My character Nyrva is also wearing phasers I made myself, in both an unscripted “wear-only” version and a scripted “weapon” version that can actually be used in roleplay combat. (For those not familiar with Second Life RP) I also made several of the consoles aboard this ship since it comes unfurnished. I got the captain’s chair from another person in SL who makes Trek-related items.

I recently made this machinima to explain how my character, Nyrva, was discovered by Starfleet in Second Life Star Trek RP. Even though for my novel there is no such thing, but since I use my character in RP, this is how I do crossover fan fiction with my own character.

Uh, oh! Someone killed a unicorn in Skyrim.

Playing World of Warcraft, on my monk I sit atop the Lucid Nightmare mount. A mount resembling a nightmarish-looking black void-kissed unicorn-like creature, obtained through a secret quest line with a series of elaborate puzzles, ending with a rather lengthy maze. But I beat it nonetheless. Here’s my character sitting on the mount! You might find a few clues to clear some of the puzzles along the way, and some of the puzzles even have toys like them that you can buy in the game, but nothing can truly prepare you for the maze since it is truly 100% random- even if you use the so-called add-on to help you map your way through it. And that is simply a matter of time to complete. I finished it in a little over 3 hours.

One of several clues leading to many puzzles along the way of the Lucid Nightmare quest. But if you haven’t done it yet, I’m not going to tell you where this is. You’ll have to find it yourself.

In the maze in the final stage of the Lucid Nightmare quest. Every room with 4 exits with at least 1 or 2 always blocked, an altar, and 2 stands, and your search is for 5 colored orbs to place on the 5 colored altars that correspond to find your way out. If you leave before you finish you have to start all over again, once you’re in you’re committed if you want this thing. I got it on the first try, albeit it took me over 3 hours. I was in it to win it. Go ahead, use an add-on if you like. Even doubling back the doors can completely change. They did for me a few times, even if you go back the exact same way. This place is truly random.

This was actually one of my favorite quest lines to do for the entire xpac of Legion to be honest. I hope we get another one in Battle for Azeroth. Another hidden quest for another hidden mount.

Undercity’s Last New Year

Last time ever for fireworks at Undercity – or for any kind of activities. Horde loses Undercity. Alliance loses a worthless level 1-20 zone nobody fooking uses.  If Alliance lost Ironforge then we’d be talking equal loses. The Horde player base is getting fooked out of their “Ironforge”.

I better get one last shot sitting on the throne in Undercity – where Arthas Menethil slew his father, Terenis Menethil II, and the bloodied crown fell to the floor that day. Note: It was an ALLIANCE prince who became the Lich King, not Horde. Sylvanas happened because of neglect by the Alliance, not the Horde! Just keep that in mind.

August 14, 2018 will see the launch of World of Warcraft: Battle of Azeroth. This new Alliance-centric xpac will see the loss of a level 20 leveling zone for Alliance players (Teldrassil/Darnassus) and a major hub for Horde players.

Blizzard Says: F**k the Horde!

The Alliance will gain control of Undercity, creating a new faction imbalance for major cities for the first time in WoW history. It also means the end of the Horde Zeppelins as the Zeppelin towers in the Undercity/Brill area will be destroyed. As of this day, 2-June-2018, Blizzard has not stated what will be replacing the Horde zeppelins or explained why they are being such dicks to the Horde fan base and so kiss-ass to Alliance players. It can only be assumed Horde players will no longer be able to take Zeppelins from Orgrimmar to the Undercity/Brill area to get to the Eastern Kingdoms. No such denial of access to Kalmidor has been created for the Alliance players in WoW by Blizzard. (As of this blog, Blizzard has had plenty of time to address this issue by publishing something that could have appeared on MMO-Champion, WoWhead or other fan sites by now, so up yours, Blizzard!)

We did 14 months of Siege of Orgrimmar to get rid of Garrosh Hellscream so we could have Vol’jin as Warchief, only so the troll devs at Blizzard who no longer seem to give a shit about the WoW Lore (because they’re now more concerned about fucking Overwatch and Hearthstone) could not use him hardly at all in Warlords of Draenor, then throw him under the bus at the beginning of Legion, and stick the Horde with a Warchief that is “Garrosh Hellscream meets the Lich King”. She will be causing good Horde leaders Varok Saurfang to leave the Horde in Battle for Azeroth, and it’s hard to foresee if a new Horde rebellion will rise so we can get rid of this Lich Queen for someone better, like Baine Bloodhoof or Gamon, for Warchief again.  And while I might seem critical of WoW and Blizzard I’m asking questions I hardly see anyone asking- a serious WTF moment.

In any case, fellow Horde, have one last look at Undercity before we lose it to the Alliance player base.

CBS Continues the Reboot Onslaught with “Discovery”

As if JJTrek wasn’t bad enough, and recent announcements that Quentin Tarantino is now being tapped to do the next Trek movie, (“Klingon, motherf**ker! Do you speak it!?”)  Vandalism of the once beloved franchise, now by CBS, continues (As if their lawsuits against Project Axanar and their neutering of Trek fan films wasn’t already a sorry insult as it is). Season one of “Discovery” has come and gone, and has not only been wrongfully called “Prime” timeline, but has redefined everything originally created by Gene Roddenberry, and visually suggesting everything from the 1960s TV show is not the correct representation of the franchise any longer. CBS redesigned the uniforms, the Klingons, the Captain Pike Era weaponry, and everything else that goes along with what Star Trek should be 10 years before Captain Kirk took the bridge for the original 5 year mission. Never mind that every ship of that era (prior to the Motion Picture years) was supposed to have their own ship badges, they went ahead and issued the “Enterprise” Arrowhead badge to the Discovery as well.

CBS Apparently doesn’t care about Trek canon, or the fact that each ship was supposed to have their own unique uniform emblem prior to the Motion Picture era. Only from that point forward did the iconic Enterprise arrowhead become the standardized symbol of Starfleet.

I guess if we have to have a “magic mushroom” drive in a Star Trek prequel series nobody in any series in the previous 50 years would ever have heard of, perhaps it’s time to start pulling rabbits out of our ass too. The plot devices of Discovery are nonsensical and idiotic at best.

The excuses of CBS to visually “reboot” Star Trek to how everything looks on “Discovery” for what is supposed to be 10 years before the original TV Series era of “how outdated” the original show looked is a bunch of malarkey. Visuals like this, of an original series Constitution Class ship in a dry dock orbiting planet Earth, serve as proof that it is possible to create the look and feel of the original TV show and still have a somewhat updated feel fit for today’s more modern audience. Most people who would watch Star Trek are not even in the demographic CBS is trying to attract anyway, as most Trek fans are 30s and up (This is also true of Star Wars fans which is why Disney is having the same problems with Star Wars fans presently). Most people under 30 of the so-called “Millennial” generation do not care about Star Trek other than for the “flavor of the day” moment. And I’m trying to imagine the outrage of Star Wars fans if Disney had updated the Millennium Falcon from the original appearance of the 1980s to fit a more “modern appearance” the way CBS has to the original Star Trek appearance and made the kind of drastic changed to the Millennium Falcon that CBS made to the Klingons where you can’t even tell what it’s supposed to be. But CBS would have been much better off to simply make a new series set in the late 24th or 25th Century, past all existing Trek canon, where arguments of this sort would not even be an issue.

The numbers don’t like. A lot of true Trek fans were not happy with this insult of a show. While we may not be in the majority per say, this is almost half. But let’s see if the next season is enough to get CBS to cancel this terd.

It’s best to sum up what CBS/Paramount can stop doing to Trek in one single meme.

By the way, getting back to Second Life Star Trek RP for a moment – it never ceases to amaze me – I’ve had at least 2 people in Second Life (who shall remain nameless here) whether a person playing a “furry” character who refused me membership in a Star Trek RP group for playing a “non-canon elf” (I don’t care about that particular issue anymore but there’s a point to bringing it up), or a human player who gave me flack over what kind of characters I play in a fan fiction Star Trek RP for “canon” and has some bone to pick with me for whatever reason. And yet, to those very same people who gave me flack over playing my character – I’ve found myself actually having to defend Star Trek TOS canon against reboots like Abrams and Discovery.

My purpose is not to call anyone out here, so I’m not naming or showing the players involved. It’s simply to make a point: I find the level of hypocrisy very interesting. I can’t have an “elf” character in a fan fiction RP situation (even though I base it off of “exploring strange new worlds” and “seeking out new life and new civilizations” and I even “Trek up” her back story for the RP – and I even made a machinima now that shows how she got “discovered” by Starfleet off-world personnel) but it’s OK for JJ Abrams and Discovery to completely shitcan original canon for their shitty reboots. I’m simply trying to add a race and character to the story, and in the unofficial 5th year of the Enterprise 5 year mission in a roleplay. Yet people who make up their own fleet names, their own ships, their own timelines, have a problem with this, but have no problem with the Abrams or Discovery reboots? Seriously, WTF?! At least I’m all about preserving original canon, maybe just taking a little license with it at best from a fan fiction standpoint. But not changing the whole damn thing.

On the other hand, take a show like The Orville, that is more upbeat, and looks like an unofficial sequel of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” with a few dick jokes in it- but it still has a lot of the same kind of stories and story telling, good character development, makes you care about the characters and the story? This so far appears to be a success despite what the critics say.

93% of fans liked The Orville against the critic score– contrast against 56% of fans who liked Discovery? It’s easy to see what the real Trekkies want in a “Trek” series.  And even though The Orville isn’t Trek by name, it has surely taken up the gauntlet of what Trek once was. Personally I’ll stick with The Orville, and practice “Safe Star Trekking” by avoiding “STD”.

If I had my way… But then maybe that would only kill the show?

Only bad news about The Orville so far involve some rumors of Alara Katan (played by Halston Sage) possibly being written or killed off the show in season 2 – which are yet unconfirmed either way (there are videos on YouTube from a few sources that discuss this possibility, and a new cast member that may be replacing her).

Also actually confirmed – The Orville season 2 launch date of December 30, 2018. Because fooking Fox is going to make us sci-fi fans wait until the stupid jocks finish football season. (Fuck football! None of them know how to respect the American National Anthem by STANDING and they piss on our flag anymore anyways, and they have the nerve to profit in America and call it the National Football League, but that’s another story! So fuck the NFL, cancel that shit, and give us The Orville, Fox!)

CBS is not the only one on a mission to destroy a long-time classic franchise. Disney and Lucasfilm are doing their best to compete with them by dragging another well-known popular franchise right down the toilet as well. With a thinly-veiled remake of the original Star Wars Episode IV marketed as a “sequel” in form of “Episode VII: The Force Engorges”, to the Mary Sue know-it-all known as “Rey” and the emasculation and killing off of Luke Skywalker in “The Last Jedi”, not to mention that flying nun “Mary Poppins” scene with Princess Leia when direct exposure to space would be nothing short of a guaranteed death sentence… Everything Disney has done with Star Wars thus far has been a complete insult to the fans who grew up and loved the originals, and have been waiting over 30 years for more. Kathleen Kennedy has been cited in a number of fan videos and articles as insulting many of these fans, along with JJ Abrams – the same hack who rebooted and screwed up Star Trek and sent that down a path it will now never recover from.

One thing is clear to me — JJ Abrams is a hack on an apparent mission to destroy at any cost, classic sci-fi for his own libtard SJW soy boy agenda. He cares more about his social justice warrior bullshit than he does about canon, developing good characters, or telling or staying true to a story. It also seems clear to me that CBS, Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, and Rian Johnson with both Trek and Star Wars have been all on the same mission and warpath. Enabled by soy-guzzling pansies who think using these entertainment mediums to push their SJW nonsense is cool, while the real fans shake their heads, facepalm, and can only helplessly sit back and watch the train wreck.

Despite paid critics and apparent Disney shills praising the movie to the rafters, it was clear what real fans thought of The Last Jedi. At my last look, this score was down now into the 40% ranges. People do not like this trash sack of a movie despite all the excuses Kathleen Kennedy, Rian JohnsonJJ Abrams, and the number of media shills have thrown out to defend it. That includes fans being called all sorts of names by these people who don’t like poorly developed characters like the Mary Sue they called “Rey”, or Admiral “Gender Studies Giraffe Neck” Holdo, or the fact we waited 30 years for more Luke Skywalker only to see him reduced to an emasculated alien tit-sucking whiney nutjob and then they killed him off, or that goofy Mary Poppins Leia scene. What about waiting to find out who “Snoke” is only to have him just killed off? The Rebel Alliance virtually wiped out by the end of the movie because of poor “empowered” feminist leadership? (yeah, put everyone in unprotected transports and let the new Neo Empire pick them off one by one! Great strategy Admiral Gender Studies!)

And no, this was not an issue of the leaders being female. There are plenty of great movies with female characters. Princess Leia up until this movie was always my fave (this movie they bastardized her like all the other characters). I loved “Wonder Woman” (to name another example). I’m writing a story with a female character – my elf “Nyrva” is one of the primary characters and a female, so I have no problem with female characters or even female characters being empowered. This was a badly-written movie, with shitty characters and a totally shitty execution of story and plot, little detail to canon and continuity, period! All the way around. What about Han, Luke and Leia all dead with Carrie Fisher now really dead, with no chance now of ever having an on-screen reunion with our favorite space trio, and the only supporting characters there will be in Episode IX are “Mary Sue”, Finn, and Darth Emo? Seriously?! We’re in for quite a conclusion to what was once an epic saga. Even Jar Jar Binks wasn’t as bad as how they finished Episode VIII and the train wreck of a movie IX sounds like it’s going to be.

So here we are, Lucasfilm says “Let the past die” through Kylo Ren in Episode VIII and they killed off Han Solo. And yet we now have a movie solely about him as a stand alone. Who cares about his origin story now? He’s dead. And frankly, we have the REAL Han Solo on the left, with Harrison Ford as bad ass as ever, and this newfag soy boy wanna be, little whipped dog on the right, with his gun airbrushed out by the studio to appeal to the anti-gun crowd– politics wins again, and art loses.

We also have to be worried now about Lando’s sexuality, as they announced he was “pansexual”. I guess he screws pots and pans? (WTF is a “pansexual” anyways? seriously!) I am straight-I am unapologetically straight, and I frankly don’t give two shits what people like to screw behind closed doors – how people live in private is their own business to me. Especially if it doesn’t do anything to enhance the plot of a story. And you know there is a way to suggest a character is gay or straight or whatever without making it a big deal. We don’t need big press to announce that a character who’s sexuality didn’t matter 30+ years ago, suddenly matters now. Nobody gives a shit and I’m willing to bet that even LGBTs don’t care either. Most people I know in those circles just want to be accepted as human beings and not be mistreated because of how they live. And like other straight people, they too are more interested in what Han Solo or Lando’s places are in reference to the rest of the Star Wars universe. I doubt they give two shits who they like to screw if it has nothing to do with enhancing the plot of the story.

But now the media and the SJW libtards are all involved in cramming this shit down everyone’s throat and calling anyone who doesn’t go along with it a “racist” or “bigot”.

Here were the initial RT scores for the Soylo movie as of May 28, 2018.

The Shills Strike Back

Shills for Lucasfilm have no doubt been hard at work since May 28, 2018 to bring the score for this shitsack of a movie up a whole 10 points to make it look more favorable than it really is, despite this movie opening with worse numbers than any other Star Wars movie in history- and that’s even with the original trilogy with numbers adjusted for inflation.

Lord and Miller were fired by Kathleen Kennedy and Soylo was reshot at an awful expense, let’s see how much over their additional expenses this thing grosses, and how much they throw Ron Howard under the bus if this flops. Meanwhile this meme explains what Lucasfilm can go do with this piece of SJW trash movie with their cheaply-named L3-37 feminazi rights L337$p34k name droid. Until they fire Kathleen Kennedy and stop inserting politics into what’s supposed to be a temporary escape from real life for 2 hours (hence why it’s called “entertainment”) it’s time to dump this franchise.

Spore drive? You want a spore drive? Here’s a fooking spore drive! Giant Super Mario mushroom included! Enjoy!

DOKKEN WITH FREDDY KRUEGER, SESSION, 1987, NEIL ZLOZOWER

Here’s a blast from the past, a classic shot of Robert Englund as Freddy Kruger with the band Dokken, on the set of “A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors” – still one of my all time favorite slasher films from the 80s, and “Dream Warriors”, one of my favorite videos for a related theme.

“Maybe tonight you’ll be gone! Dream Warriors”

Robert Englund as Freddy Kruger. Still one of the best on-screen slashers of all time, and the best personas in a horror movie.

World of Warcraft – The Windrunner sisters: Vareesa, Sylvanas, and Alleria Windrunner.

And that’s all we have for today. Thank you for checking out my blog for today. I hope to start doing these again a bit more often instead of every few months, especially since I pay to keep up my website, right?

And I felt it would be good to close out with the National Anthem. The NFL doesn’t respect it, but I do. I respect our flag, our country, our troops, our Constitution, even if I don’t agree with our politicians. Our men and women in uniform fight for our freedoms laid out for our constitutions and it’s what makes it possible to have free expression. It’s not something to take lightly or easily dismiss. #GodblesstheUSA #SupportOurTroops #StarsandStripesForever #FirstAmendment

And for those of us who still do respect our country (unlike anyone at the NFL) the American National Anthem.

God bless the USA. Support our Troops.

More Stuff… 28-Aug-2017

Another blog about more stuff I feel like talking about from games, to sci-fi/fantasy, to art or whatever I feel like ranting about.

WARNING: Some images, language, and content on this page is not suitable for some viewers, those under 18, and “NSFW”, so if you may be offended by depictions of nudity, strong language, etc. it is advised you do not view or read this blog. You have been warned. Thank you.

Blizzard Strikes Again!

The release of the final patch of the Legion expansion on September 29, 2017, this most likely means no further content until the next expansion. It’s likely they will announce the next expansion in November 2017, then the new expansion won’t hit until late summer next year at earliest, or probably November 2018 which means a year to possibly 15 months with no new content between the release of 7.3 and the prepatch of whatever comes next. Plus you have no catch-up mechanics for your alts. So if you don’t have that third “relic slot” and if you’re item level is low on those alts- “f**k you!” Blizzard isn’t giving you shit for catchup for your alts- you’re just expected to keep feeding them $15 subscription payments for them doing nothing for you every month.

But Blizzard seems to have no problem letting WoW break while pumping all their time and effort into Overwatch and Hearthstone and kissing the asses of Destiny 2 players now. This is why I’m doing more Skyrim and Second Life, and just playing whatever I got on Steam, or just doing whatever other hobbies I got these days for myself. Once my WoW sub money runs out I’m done until 8.0 – and even then depends on what the xpac is going to be.

How about we start in Skyrim again today like last time? This time we have the semi-naked Nyrva fighting an enemy outside of Whiterun. I decided to kill Saadi after turning her over to the Redguards for the bounty. Then I killed the Redguards. Unlike WoW at least I have more control over what goes on in Skyrim with the use of addons and mods so I can make the game a little more my own. Plus you get player housing, no one to kick you out of dungeons or compete against you for loot- everything in the world is yours for the taking! There’s a lot of plus things about a game like this. Only thing is because you become the thane of every city and hold every major position there is in Skyrim, you pretty much become a Mary Sue. lol!

A frontal shot of Nyrva in the same leafy outfit in Skyrim in another one of those slow-mo battle poses. This version outfit does not have anything to cover the crotch. So her “feminine” area is constantly showing, yet no one scolds her for being naked because she has these very skimpy “clothes” on.

Of course you can always just have a straight-up nude Nyrva fighting her foes.

All of my depictions of Nyrva, whether in Skyrim, Second Life, or anywhere else are all based on my original character concept I conceived several years ago, represented in drawings I have done of the character also. Ideally any models of her should have very long brown hair with bangs and blue eyes but this is not always possible to do.  I also hope to get away somewhat from the quasi-Anime style I’ve used to draw her with and develop more my own style for the character in time. She is ultimately a character I created for a novel I have been working on that has undergone several rewrites, and until recently has been gathering a bit of “cyberdust” in my computer- but I’m starting to tinker with it again, and I have a lot of work to do to tinker with the back story and finally finish the first book. I had at least 2 books planned based on Nyrva as the main character of the story- other characters were possible if those books were of enough interest, but I figured finish one book first then seen.

I never wanted to do anything to destroy Nyrva as a character of course – just put her in all sorts of interesting situations in the story and see what happens with her. I’m not a writer, my story creation ends up being the result of sort of the elaborate roleplay of ideas, then I try and write them down. But it’s not easy to do. Nyrva is not dead here, or even harmed- simply sleeping in a strange, surreal alternate dimension in which her physical body is trapped. In the past I have given different explanations for this drawing and others like it as I have tinkered with ideas. But I like to roleplay putting her into strange situations and try to figure out the outcome. This drawing depicts trapping her in a strange place outside her world called “Dimension Zero”- how she gets in, and what she must do to get back out. More importantly, what does this strange experience do to her, and is it just a strange dream? Fitting concepts like this into the story of the novel she is in are part of the challenge I have faced given the direction of the general story- and I have even considered redefining her entire world.

I have drawn this also. This is another drawing of Nyrva pregnant, but instead of standing in a side pose, this time she is sleeping nude. And in one little lore bit I have about Nyrva she has a habit of also throwing off her covers. Sometimes it’s not clear the fate I want to decide for a character- do they live, do they die? What kind of things define and shape their lives? In this case, does Nyrva marry, does she have a child? I never have decided if she actually does become pregnant, and even if she does, by whom. Originally I decided to have her killed at the end of a novel by an enemy to create a tragedy and a legacy for a follow-up story. I won’t say that I have 100% ruled out this possibility- I would do it if I felt it really lent itself to the betterment of all characters involved, including Nyrva if she dies for a purpose. Does she become a mother? That isn’t clear either. I did draw this as visualization of the concept- an obvious depiction of offspring in her belly and the possibility of a continued legacy on her part as well. Nothing is ultimately decided about the future of the character. As I stated, the first story isn’t even written, but decisions like this will no doubt come as things begin to take shape.

This is one I drew of Nyrva standing nude on the beach. She covers her chest but unfortunately for Nyrva her vagina has no covering. On a more personal note I used to try and draw “hair” yes but it got tedious, so I just figure my women characters “shave”. This is one drawing I want to redo in the new style I’m trying to develop for drawing Nyrva that is slightly less Anime-ish than the past. But I’m still working on it. It’s not a complete change from how she looks now but I do want to start re-imagining the character to something I like better of course.

This is a drawing I did back in 2009 originally of my character, Nyrva, drinking coffee. It kind of became “poster girl” art of her I used for a long time and it still kind of is. Her outfit was originally white but I later re-colored it “Wood Elf” green. She was originally to appear in a bar-like scene drinking with her friends; something I still plan to do. I’ve already begun to draw a revised version of this with a full-body drawing of the character and had begun to draw some of her friends for the originally-planned scene. I never finished this but I want to reprise the drawing, this time in my newer style of drawing her when I do it, and accompanied by some of her friends- but it will take some time to do.

Here I decided to try and make a Second Life version of my character Nyrva sipping coffee. I mentioned redrawing Nyrva less anime looking, and I’ve also considered a different Second Life model- that is if I can find another mesh model that will look better than the one I currently use and more like I think how she should look.

Nyrva and Haime in Second Life in Nyrva’s kitchen having ale and lager together at Nyrva’s table after dinner. (I made the mugs myself).

The Elven Ambassador for their province and personal friend, Llewellyn, joins Nyrva and Haime for dinner that evening and sips a mug of Elven lager with them. All 3 characters are original characters of mine, these are just Second Life “versions” of them of course. I have never done concept art of Llewellyn but that is in the plans. This Second Life model is generally how I want her to look however.

Another shot of my Second Life conception of my character Llewellyn. I still want to do some concept art of her but so far nothing I’ve done has been satisfactory yet. I will likely now base it off the model since I like how she looks here. I don’t know if she will be the “Elven Ambassador” in the novel I’m writing- I use her in that role in RP in my Second Life RP groups, but her role in the novel is yet to be determined. She is however, one of Nyrva’s friends in the story. There is also Nyrva’s sister in the story, Raiya. Other Elven friends of Nyrva’s include Kyra and Myrna, and some neko-eared females shown elsewhere in this post- Mychelle and Raechelle- since that is also a race on Nyrva’s home planet in the story.

Nyrva and Haime eventually retire back to the main house after dinner and drinks. You have to know eventually the alcohol kicks in after enough drinks, people get horny… sometimes this is how kids even happen… lol!

On Second Life – Nyrva and Haime in her home – Nyrva, taking off her clothes, throws herself on Haime, feeling the “heat of the moment”. Of course he’s not going to say “no” to the girl he loves throwing her nude body on top of him. Second Life, of course, may roleplay possibilities exist, even the erotic ones – especially the erotic ones. A lot of people do them whether they admit it or not, and as much as they cut down on other people for doing it.

Of course things can always get very personal very fast… Haime plants his face in Nyrva’s vagina and does a little cunnilingus on his lover? Hey they’re my characters I’ll do what I want with them. I mostly get the pictures just for pictures for shock value just like this. lol!

More RP: Haime and Nyrva spending some private quality time alone together in Nyrva’s home, in Second Life. Only bad thing about these characters, sometimes the body parts stick through the clothes and things like that, but I still like to mess around and take these shots just for fun.

Another shot of Nyrva and Haime alone together. Oops, she’s not wearing underwear. I never could decide if female elves value underwear or if they don’t care about covering their unmentionables. lol!

I guess this was a fun shot to do. Anyone with a foot fetish out there? Here you go! I guess Haime told Nyrva he likes her feet so she gave him both. lol!

Of course it doesn’t always have to be sexual. Sometimes it can just be two friends. This was a fantasy shot I did of my Nyrva in Second Life with my pandaren rogue Yakusa from World of Warcraft. Maybe Nyrva’s having a bad day? Who knows. I always pictured the pandas as being lovy-dovy characters so here you go. Yakusa may be Horde, but she’s still a panda. lol! 🙂  Unattached from World of Warcraft of course, the pandaren model does not exhibit the same animations they would in World of Warcraft, but it’s interesting what animations you can have them do in Second Life. But because of the bigness and bulkiness of the models, some animations work and some do not.

How about if I have Nyrva and Yakusa just pictured together in a wooded scene here. This kind of stuff is cool to do too.

VOL’JIN LIVES! In Second Life! Blizzard threw him under the bus. Screw Blizzard! Bad Blizzard! Some of us still like the character. Frankly I don’t see a difference between doing this and playing with the models in WoW Model Viewer. I’m not selling the darn thing. I use it only for my own personal use.

Here is Vol’jin with Nyrva in Second Life. She gets to spend a little time with the now former Horde warchief. I just think it’s really shitty how Blizzard barely used him in Warlords of Draenor at all, and then killed him off in Legion when we already had a warchief change- the Alliance I could see, they’ve never had a change since WoW began. It was about time to pass the torch in the case of the Alliance, but 3 warchiefs now in 10 years for the Horde? come on!

Nyrva with my model of Sylvanas Windrunner in Second Life, and I’m glad to have it before they covered up the mid drift. I don’t know what Blizzard’s problem is, if the devs are gay or something or what, since they suddenly decided sexy female characters are no longer cool and covered up Sylvanas’ mid drift. And no, that’s not a bash on the gay lifestyle so nobody send me hate mail or something claiming I’m doing that because I’m not. But let’s face it from a demographic standpoint; the majority of people are heterosexual and the majority of WoW players are heterosexual males- so it is not wrong to have some female characters with sex appeal in the game. It’s not a game for kids to begin with. I’m not saying they can’t put some characters for gays and lesbians or whatever, OK fine, I’m not into that but whatever, that sort of thing is just not for me then. But that’s another discussion, and I don’t know enough about that to entertain a legit discussion since I don’t live that lifestyle. Leave that discussion for people more into that stuff, OK fine, whatever. But I’m straight and that’s what I like. People regardless of their lifestyle should have characters they like in these games. There was no reason to change Sylvanas other than just to be asshats. But then the whole sexual debate thing aside, Blizzard changes a lot of shit just to be asshats because that’s exactly what their cocky arrogant troll devs are. Like they changed the weapons, they changed the game interfaces and a bunch of other things just to be dicks. And by the way– if you feel I wrote something “wrong” here as fair as I’ve tried to be in my comments, etc. remember one thing- this is still America, I have a Constitutional right to free speech and I am exercising that right. No one is forcing you to read my blog, go read something else if you don’t like what I say- and that goes for anything I do. ‘Nuff said.

A model of a Hofbrau beer dispenser I built in Second Life that also dispenses bottles of beer I made for the dispenser that characters “drink” from. I custom-made my own bottles and mugs for this dispenser- and there is at least 1 bottle with appropriate lables for each of the handles shown on this model. I drink Hofbrau and German beers in real life in addition to local Wisconsin regional beers such as Leinenkugels, Sprecher and Point. But I wanted my own beer dispenser in Second Life so I modeled this largely after a dispenser I saw on the internet, though I didn’t copy it exact- it’s loosely based on the model I saw online.

This was the online model I saw that I used as a basis to create my model in Second Life. Again, I didn’t copy it exact, but I made my dispenser like this one, or loosely based on it. I did my handles different because of the odd oval-shape of the handles here- a little hard to duplicate in Second Life prims. There’s some things in Second Life I haven’t quite figured out how to do yet in terms of shape-manipulation. So I’ve got a lot to learn- but that means I just made my own handles my own way. I’d still love to have one of these beer taps for home though, but too much money. And wouldn’t you know- Point Root Beer from Steven’s Point, Wisconsin is on tap on this dispenser! Awesome, I want some! Point and Sprecher are definitely two local beer companies I also buy root beer from. (Well, Steven’s Point is a bit of a drive from Milwaukee but it’s a Wisconsin company- good enough for me!)

I always love these bar wench pictures like this. I had to do some of my own in Second Life of course. And I still want to do some drawings of my female elf characters as bar wenches. I can do the Second Life thing but there’s still some satisfaction I get from doing actual art. And, not to mention this woman is… very pretty! I’ve always been more partial to brunettes, don’t ask why. 🙂

I showed this in the last blog but here’s my Second Life conception of Nyrva as a bar wench.

And again Nyrva as a bar wench, but this time, holding a bottle of Hofbau that I made in Second Life, that comes out of the Hofbrau dispenser I made. The bottles are scripted with animations I found to make the character “drink” from it.

How can Nyrva send herself a letter thanking herself for killing someone in Skyrim?! WTF?! This actually came from my twin follower of my own character, and yes it’s a real quest to turn in for a measly 100 septims just for killing the person named in this letter.

Yes, I actually have Batman as a follower in Skyrim. Superman too, but he’s sitting at a table sipping ale in Riverwood while I have Batman helping me in this shot.

Working at the drafting table without clothes is far less sweaty and easier on the laundry bill.

Yes, this is a unicorn in Windhelm. I usually stick a unicorn in cities, then console-set it to follower and relationshiprank settings for the Dragonborn like a regular horse, then appropriate setav confidence and aggression settings to that it will attack anyone who attacks my Dragonborn (like guards if I steal stuff! lol!) Sometimes I stick a horse in a city and do the same thing, but I never ride them in the cities so it doesn’t mess up the horse I am riding in the world outside on the world map.

My Second Life version of my Felinian character, Mychelle, nude in Second Life. I’m not big on furry/anthro stuff. But I got chased out of a Star Trek RP by some asshole named Spires in a red shirt over using this character and the group leader let him do it. (Never mind that Star Trek has the cat-like race called “Caitians”)

And Mychelle as I draw her. My Second Life version is a bit different since I use the paw attachments on the hands and feet. But my drawing does not have such features, she’s just a girl with cat-like ears and a tail.

My Second Life version of my Felinian character, Mychelle, nude in Second Life. She is classified as a half human/half Caitian for Star Trek RP purposes, but a Felinian (human-like race with cat-like features) outside of Trek RP. Raechelle shown in the picture is a multi-purpose RP character: I use her as a green Orion girl, an elf girl, and a human. Mychelle and Raechelle are otherwise my own original characters, not affiliated with CBS or Star Trek. I merely use them in RP situations in Second Life, one of which happens to be Star Trek-related.

This is my normal, original depiction of my character “Raechelle”, like Mychelle, a cat-eared “Felinian” character. In this case, in a role like a “dungeon master” or “quest giver” with an obvious wardrobe malfunction. But Raechelle is also my own character idea. I just do not use her as a neko-ear in Second Life.

World of Warcraft: Legion – my Enhancement Shaman, Treedragon in her class order hall. I scored a kick ass weapon appearance upgrade for my shaman’s Doomhammer that allows it to take on the appearance of a Zandalari warhammer. It was a world drop off the Tides of the Deep world boss in Aszara.

One of the major problems I have right now with Legion, is aside from my monk and rogue who are 907 (windwalker monk) and 896 (outlaw rogue), all my other toons are below 850 and missing the third relic slot. This means at this stage in Legion with 7.3 coming out they are so far behind they aren’t worth playing.  I’m pretty much parking all my alts since there just is no catch-up mechanic this xpac. If there is anything in 7.3 I doubt it, but I don’t read patch notes, especially after WoD since all that ever was, was just “more garrison shit”. I’ve learned to expect nothing of substance from Blizzard anymore.

A quest I did on my shaman for her order hall in World of Warcraft where you have to recover Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker off this dead guy. Did someone say…?

Yes. Apparently someone did say… and they died for it too. (I still don’t have that damn thing on either my monk or my rogue, yet I had to recover it off a dead guy on my shaman? What’s wrong with this picture?!)

My favorite Skyrim bard (AFTER the Stormcloaks take over and she sings the RIGHT songs that is). I never tweaked her code in the console to make her a follower though. But maybe I should. Only thing is, what will she do, hit her opponents with her lute? lol!

A model of a Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser I have in Second Life- I shot it against a “bluescreen” then dropped in a space background in Adobe Photoshop again. I wanted to use something more worthy of the Klingons for this shot.

The Original USS Enteprise – NCC-1701. No bloody A, B, C, D, E, NX, JJ, or reboots. No redesigned Klingons, no band marching uniforms, etc. etc. I shot this entirely in Second Life with a model of the Enterprise against a star field. I like Next Generation Star Trek, DS9 and Voyager, but outside of those, this is the only other Star Trek I give a shit about- the ORIGINAL. Everything else is an offshoot. You nuTrek newfags wanna-be fans out there wouldn’t have your stupid JJTrek/Discovery reboot SHIT without this. (I’m tired of being nice about this, I’ve learned it doesn’t pay because I get tired of having to defend why I like the originals to those so-called “fans”.)

A miniaturized model of my ship, the USS Milwaukee, NCC-005 against the same star field. I also have the version you can walk around inside of as well. This is basically an archer-class USS Sagittarius model that I retextured with the name and registry of my own choosing. Since this is a small ship, I thought it was cool to base it off the real USS Milwaukee US Navy warship, also a small vessel- with a registry of LCS-5. That and I’m from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and I wanted a ship named after my hometown. I’m a homeboy. 😛

This was a fun fantasy picture to create- the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the year 2267, and the USS Milwaukee leaves a dedication ceremony at Bob Uecker Memorial Park for its maiden voyage into the stars. Bob Uecker of course is one of my favorite local personalities- known in baseball, his role on TV as Mr. Belvedere, and his role as a commentator in the movie “Major League” (which he does for the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team IRL- and much of what he did in “Major League” was ad-lib as I understand it – and “Major League” was also shot mostly in Milwaukee). I just felt an homage and tipping of the hat to Mr. Uecker was in order and they really should have a park, or street or something named after him here in Milwaukee. January 26 is Bob Uecker’s birthday- 3 days after my own.  🙂

If Next Generation Star Trek can name their bar, I can name mine too. So mine, being on a small ship is actually a “ward room” like they have on actual naval warships, and I called mine “The First Ward”. 🙂  Another picture I shot of my ship against a bluescreen then dropped in a star field for this picture. I then did some basic text effects for the sign.

I went for a bit of a “sports bar” feel for my “ward room”- the rest of the ship is “fleet business” but the whole point of the Ward Room/mess hall to me is to relax a bit. And who says they don’t have sports on Earth in the 23rd century? I don’t know much about FC Bayern- I play with some people from Germany and 1 or 2 of them like the team so I put up this picture. But I’m a Green Bay fan so that’s on the wall too. 😛

Nyrva in a Starfleet Uniform in Second Life for roleplay. There is an actual roleplay reason I use a fantasy Elf in Star Trek. But after all the purpose is “to seek out new life and new civilizations”- at the end of the day, this elf is just another alien female on another strange planet they found along the way. Prime Directive? oops, shit happens! I made up my own badges for the USS Milwaukee shown on her outfit since every TOS ship had their own unique ship badge.  Oh, I didn’t make the Hofbrau mug by the way, as much as I wish I could claim credit for such a cool thing. lol!

Another beer sign in the USS Milwaukee ward room. A vessel like the USS Milwaukee, named after the warship and city of Milwaukee, would not be complete without a reference of some kind to “the beer that made Milwaukee famous”.

A mock book cover I made for a prop book in Second Life – the Starfleet Survival Guide for Redshirts. I guess this is why Next Generation Star Trek and everything that followed changed the uniforms, so we can’t make these jokes anymore. lol!

Another Trek fantasy where I took 2 ship models I had and shot against a bluescreen in Second Life and dropped in a star field in Photoshop. They were of the USS Milwaukee and the USS Enterprise. I wanted the two ships together in a scene. “USS Enterprise to USS Milwaukee- we want to discuss some cases of Romulan Ale we detected in your cargo hold…” lol! 🙂

Here is the original bluescreen image of both ships before the star field was dropped in with Photoshop. The same technique is used by Hollywood film studios of course to make epic special effects but on a more professional level.

Here’s another shot of the USS Milwaukee flying alongside the USS Enterprise in another space fantasy. I felt like it was so cool to make a sort of modernized fantasy of oldschool Star Trek ships, sort of up-to-date graphics, yet still looks sort of like the old TV show- so I love doing this kind of stuff. If I can do this, I don’t understand why CBS couldn’t have made Discovery more like this instead of just doing their JJTrekkish-style reboot. It’s going to be Trek fans from now on doing fan films or people like me making these kind of pictures in order to see classic-style Trek stuff anymore, they will never again come from CBS or Paramount because they don’t want to appeal to classic Trek fans at all anymore.

This cartoon pretty much sums up what I think CBS and Paramount have done to true classic and canon Trek fans- kind of said “piss on you” with all the damn reboots, etc. They’re just going to keep making the JJTrek nuTrek new timeline movies and now Discovery is a reboot along that same order too. They’ve pretty much pissed on, and given the bird to people who liked Star Trek the way it was. And their directors and actors are like a damn kid with their attitude towards Trek fans too. Even the guy playing the captain in Discovery doesn’t care if classic/canon Trek fans are pissed off. Jason Isaacs, aka “@Jasonsfolly” on Twitter, was even caught shit-talking classic Trekkies, and spat on the legacy of William Shatner and Patrick Stewart then tried to skirt around it after he got called out on it by William Shatner. As a representative and employee of CBS then, he’s representing the company’s views to the public with the shit attitude he has towards people who don’t like what he says. And he also called classic Trek fans who will tell him to go fuck himself “idiots” and dared them to watch the show. I also edited this last minute to add @jasonsfolly and change it to say “William Shatner” and “Patrick Stewart” fans because that’s more to the point- those who liked the original Trek timeline and TV shows are the ones being pissed on.

Any so-called “loyal” Trek fan who watches Discovery after a snippet like this, truly is a moron because this guy insults you and you cave in to this bastard’s self-fulfilling prophecy. He’s expecting you to hate the show but still watch anyways, and he’s counting on it, and “piss on” the legacy of Shatner and Stewart.

I’m actually planning to check out The Orville when it comes on. If I didn’t know any better I’d swear this was a new Star Trek show, maybe a sequel to the Next Generation or a clear cut parody of it. But it looks more like Star Trek now than the shit CBS is actually selling as Star Trek.

I don’t have much else for this blog. I let these things go for too long, but I hope to write shorter blogs of just whatever the hell I feel like talking about a little more often. Just me talking about my nerdy hobbies. I’ll close for now with a picture of my monk with Pepe on her head. This is my main now for a second xpac in a row.

Until next time! God bless!

Whatever I feel like talking about, games, fantasy, random rants, or whatever…

Playing through Skyrim again, building my house, Lakeview Manor, near Falkreath. But hell, everyone playing Skyrim has this house. lol!

Yo! Blizzard Entertainment! You guys just never got it. A lot of us didn’t want those stupid garrisons you stuck us with in Warlords of Draenor. We didn’t want something tied to game progression either on or offline. We just wanted a player house. Something we could customize and have for our own, to kick it. Not have it tied to our whole darn progression you doofuses.

Skyrim is a bit cookie cutter, but that’s the thing at least the game can be modded, so that people can add or change things they don’t like. I wish more games would follow this kind of sandbox model and allow players to make the game, or at least certain aspects of it, their own.

Once you add all the stuff in it you’re all set to go, you can even hire a bard and a house maid. It begs the question why the devs at Blizzard are too arrogant to put in a proper player house- not the garrisons like they did, but the kind of player houses people get in every game besides WoW. I just think it would be cool to have a place for your character to “kick it” and have a lot of their stuff there- and without it being a damn garrison like in Warlords.

Meanwhile, latency issues, disconnections, DDoS and screens like this are becoming almost a norm on World of Warcraft lately in recent months, hence, this meme of “The New Normal” for World of Warcraft. And how does Blizzard “Customer Service” (@BlizzardCS) handle it on Twitter? They just send you here. This is why the problem never gets better, because Blizzard simply “handles” it always dishing out that same “canned answer” to everyone like their paid automatons are trained to do.

“By the power of Greyskull!” Oh, wait, wrong universe! lol! Getting an upgrade on my artifact weapons on my monk.

Luckily I don’t deal with any of those issues on Skyrim. WoW and Second Life represent pretty much my only two online gaming/MMO/social gaming experiences anymore. I’m just not big on online stuff- too many trolls, too much online drama. I like games I can just put on my computer or a console and just enjoy for myself where I don’t have to care what anyone thinks about it. What about the “social aspect”? I’m oldschool, I see my friends IRL. I don’t need the drama, life’s too short. I got my website, I can post a blog if I feel like it, and if people read it, great, and if they don’t, who cares? I’d rather have 2 people read it that appreciate what I have to say than 500 trolls that don’t. A lot of the internet is just a troll trove and a sewer anymore so who cares.

Outside of the gaming for LEISURE, you just gotta get out and see the real world, live IRL. I love this meme- this says it all. I quit raiding. I am no longer going to raid in World of Warcraft for example other than playing “LFR Hero” just to see the cinematics and the bosses, etc. enough to satify my curiosities. But I’m not going to raid hours and hours a week anymore. I don’t play half as much as I used to. I do a lot more websurfing these days than I do stuff on it. I guess I just don’t care to participate in a lot of online venues anymore other than just looking around at things of interest. But I will still post my blogs here when I feel like it. I have no set schedule for this. It’s just whenever I feel like writing something I guess.

Meanwhile CBS/Paramount is getting ready to unleash another piece of shit Star Trek reboot on us in the form of Star Hack Discovery coming up this fall. I swear CBS can take a pile of shit and slap the “Star Trek” label on it and some people will accept whatever they dish out. It was like in Anime and music circles years ago, when I used to denote distinguishing fans who were selective and knew how to find the good stuff on their own vs those who just accepted anything they were handed. I call the latter group “dupes” because they’re too damn stupid to think for themselves. I always respected those who didn’t just accept anything they were given, always did their own thinking, and were more discriminating about what they accept from these media companies. I care what true Trekkies think- those who liked the Original Star Trek, maybe TNG, DS9, Voyager, but knew when to stop at Enterprise, Abrams, and now this crap. I have to wonder about people who just blindly accept the Abrams timeline changes and this new reboot. They either claim to be “Trek” fans and have no loyalty to the original, or are NuTrek fans who want to say they are fans of this stuff but don’t know dick about anything before Abrams came along. I don’t care what any of those people think honestly.

So CBS thinks this is a pre-Pike era ship? Hardly looks like it. The visuals for this piece of shit show hardly look like anything I saw on the episode “The Cage” from the 1960s. And not just because of 1960s props- there are fan shows that take painstaking efforts to duplicate that style- no reason a studio can’t do it, maybe with a little updating perhaps.

WTF is this supposed to be? A pizza cutter? A bottle opener? What the hell kind of drugs was someone on when they made up this ship design anyways? Why are there cuts in the saucer section? Do they serve a purpose? This just looks like another piece of shit Jar Jar Abrams-inspired poor excuse of a spaceship, and not something worth tuning in for.

This is a “Klingon” now. You guys who have been dressing up like Klingons since 1980 have been doing it wrong, you need to do it like this now, and throw out the dreadlock wigs. This is now what a Klingon looks like according to the new CBS shit show. CBS owns the rights, so I guess that gives them the right to change how everything looks. So somehow a Klingon is supposed to magically go from this to how they looked in the original TV series in 10 years? I could buy this series if they would just come out and admit it was a reboot and it was 10 years prior to the events of the Abrams movies. This looks nothing whatsoever like the “Prime Timeline” Star Trek at all. Not the ships, not the Klingons, not the band uniforms the crew is wearing, none of it.

Funny how the new Discovery “Klingons” more closely resemble this cosplayer from Galaxy Quest than they do Klingons from Star Trek. Like WTF again?! And people will, and have said to me “Well you haven’t seen the show yet, how do you know how it’s going to be?” – because I don’t like the visuals so far, so no I’m not going to want to watch it. Ever heard of “first impressions”?

Let’s review– The guy on the left is an original TV series Klingon. the guy in the middle represents the way Klingons pretty much looked from the first motion picture all the way through DS9, Voyager, etc. etc. even though those Klingons went through slight variation, the general appearance was similar; ridges on the foreheads, samurai beards, long hair/dreadlocks, etc. The only difference between the TOS Klingons and the guy in the middle outside of the uniforms, is the ridges on the foreheads and the big dreadlock wigs. Otherwise they both have shaded skin, samurai beards, the eyebrows, etc. Now on the right, they expect us to completely dismiss the last 50 years of how Klingons look and accept this new shit look they have. The guy on the right has no hair, and has a smashed-in, stretched face. Like WTF? Did he headbutt a freaking wall 50 times?

All I can say to CBS and Paramount at this point is “F**k you!” They put out the crappy Abrams movies where they wiped out the original Trek timeline just so they could completely erase the previous 40-45 years of Star Trek, say that all of the original series, TNG, Voyager, and DS9 no longer counts as “canon” so they could write new canon and say “this is Star Trek now” and you’re expected to discard all your old Trek for the new crap. That is what a reboot does- it says “the old story is no longer canon, this is the story now”. That’s why the comic books keep restarting with issue 1, that’s why they keep rebooting movie franchises, to do away with the original stories, wipe the slate clean and start new. You’re expected to forget what the original story was. It’s like literary Orwellianism at its finest. So CBS and Paramount, instead of trying to make this right with the new series, just goes right ahead with a new reboot while lying through their teeth and claiming “Oh, this is Prime Timeline” – bullshit it is, meanwhile they’re suing people doing fan films who are doing way better stuff then CBS or Paramount could ever do. CBS and Paramount can take all their post-2009 so-called Star Trek TV-and movies and shove them up their ass, along with their “fan movie rules” too. If I make original characters or stories, they are mine, whether they are my own original works or whether I cross them with a Star Trek fan fiction. It doesn’t make me own anything that directly references Star Trek, but f**k you CBS, I still own my original content in the form of other characters or other works. You guys can eat shit on those fan rules of yours.

Here! These are Klingons from the original TV Series Star Trek- the ORIGINAL Star Trek, the ORIGINAL Klingons- the ones which all other Klingons were based off of. Screw that crap from Discovery!

How about some Klingons from the Next Generation Star Trek? These are cool Klingons too! Qa’pla! I’ll even take these guys! At least they aren’t the depature from Klingon appearance that Discovery is.

Here is a Classic Klingon battle cruiser. I dread to see what they come up with in Discovery.

This is the “Prelude to Axanar” – a short fan video which is very top notch that proves it is possible to have a quality Trek production, use traditional Star Trek imagery, characters, and ideas, and look current to today’s video standards. This video, if I didn’t know better, looks almost official to me. But CBS just decided to sue this out of production and do the Discovery reboot. Fuck CBS!

Another great series with a tragically short run is Star Trek Continues, which is going to end now with the 11th episode, as a result of the Axanar lawsuit. And now no new Star Trek fan video can be longer than 15 minutes and there’s a whole list of rules to make sure all new Trek fan films completely suck and are devoid of any true creativity or expression so that CBS can try to force everyone to accept their shitty reboot crap. They can keep it.

It isn’t Discovery I’ll be watching this fall, like many other tried and true loyal Trek fans not happy about CBS/Paramount screwing with Trek’s otherwise longstanding lore, I will be checking out The Orville. This is the big competition that seems to be drawing many Trek fans away from Discovery. Like the movie Galaxy Quest, The Orville is a Star Trek-like parody that in this case, is more like Star Trek than anything Jar Jar Abrams has done or that CBS is planning to put out in the form of Discovery. If nothing else this show almost looks like a “Star Trek: The Next Generation” parody offshoot. But that’s the thing, we’re stuck now in doing reboots and prequels with Star Trek, instead of taking the story from Star Trek: Nemesis and continuing forward- what happens 10 years later? 20? What about 50 years later? Why can’t we see a new show that happens years after Nemesis that shows us the direction things have gone since then? But that’s not what CBS wants to do. Like many studios now, it’s no longer about creativity or originality, it’s only about the quick buck. So it’s going to be shows like this that draw fans now. Or else we’ll have to look to fan films, independent and underground releases, or if you’re like me, you pretty much abandon television and most movies and find other ways to entertain yourself; writing, drawing, or any other creative hobbies that pass the time.

Moving right along…

I can’t do anything about CBS and Paramount screwing up Star Trek in movies and TV but at least I know places I can have my own Trek stuff that looks like it’s supposed to. ‘Nuff said! I built the navigator console and the consoles in the wall slots shown in the picture. I got the chairs, ship and screens from other sources.

I did build my own replica of the K-7 bar from the “Tribbles” episode for my ship though. I just changed the color of the wall behind the shelves from red to blue and the color of the bar from orange to Navy Blue, but otherwise I got it as close to the K-7 bar as I could. They also had an odd-looking contraption above the food hatch, but I put a console there. I did build the other console on the wall behind it- it was an odd shape to work with for texturing, that’s for sure.

My engineering room. I built the upper deck. And aside from the blue “warp plasma” inside the tube above, the 2 consoles on the far right wall and the 2 flat panels on the left side wall, I built everything else shown.

More consoles I built. The middle panels on the left console, and the middle and right set of lights on the right standalone console have animated lights. I build these for my personal use and do not sell anything I build and the only people who get copies are people who know me personally. So I don’t believe I’m violating any “fan rules”. But I don’t really give a shit about those since I’m not selling my Trek builds. And if it comes down to it a lot of my builds (though not all) can be recolored, re-textured, and re-purposed into “generic sci-fi” consoles so then it’s not “Trek”.

In my sick bay– a medical scanner I built. Also some tall “medical jars” of some kind I made in the background. The medical scanner has a Photoshop-textured panel I created, plus some actual switches and lights I made on it. It’s all just props for RP purposes but that’s the point. This was like a scanner that already exists in Second Life but it was too “Next Generation Star Trek”-looking. So I rebuilt my own that is similar to it and put original series Star Trek-style graphics, switches, and lights on it.

How about a fantasy scene I built for my rezzable holodeck? I bought a lot of this stuff but I do make a few of my own props. I the foreground is a “strategy table” I made. The mug is not my own however, is from another source. And I used a Skyrim map since I don’t have a substitute right now and I didn’t care to use a map of Gor like so many in Second Life do. (I never even heard of Gor/Gorean until I joined and don’t care about it because you can’t use any races other than human and to me that defeats the point of fantasy). I have made my own gold coins also with Skyrim Septim textures. I hope to make my own textures for gold coins also so I am not using a licensed property. But it also fun to build small fantasy scenes I can put into my holodeck rezzer and use at will.

This is the outside of an Elven Brewpub I made in the same scene. The gold brew tank in the middle is one I made. I did not make the larger one on the left or the large barrel on the right. But altogether it looks like this place brews some serious house brew. For RP purposes that’s the idea.

If you misbehave here you get the pillory and the jail. I also added posted “Dark Brotherhood” related imagery from Skyrim just for kicks.

The posting on the left is of course the note the Dark Brotherhood sends you in Skyrim for the “Innocence Lost” quest. On the right is a “response” note I made because I always kill Astrid then go wipe out the rest of the Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim.

My answer to the Dark Brotherhood every time! Death!

Wardrobe Malfunction Detected! Looking up this skirt from a low angle we don’t see panties. Nyrva stands, legs spread, letting her “unmentionables” show.

ROLEPLAY SCENES AND POSSIBILITIES IN SECOND LIFE

Here we have a another rezzable roleplay setting I built for my holodeck which is supposed to be Nyrva’s family’s house (the house she was born and raised in, and the heiress thereof by her late parents) on her Elven homeworld in Second Life. She sits at her desk writing a letter on a scroll of parchment with a feather pen and ink.

Here’s another shot of Nyrva sitting at her desk writing a letter at home.

Sometimes I don’t always know how to caption the screenshots based on the animations from the characters and the props. I guess Nyrva is glancing over her document here and proofreading? who knows. After all they don’t have spell-checkers. lol!

Nyrva is deep in thought of what to say next in her letter? Or is it how to spell a word?

A view of Nyrva writing from the front angle, also showing her background with all her books, her scrolls and ink in the foreground and a pouch of her money on the desk.

A shot under Nyrva’s desk for a gratuitous shot here. I do this just for fun, she’s a frigging video game sprite at the end of the day.

Nyrva out in her yard after dark. Don’t ask me the light source. She stands amidst a campfire setup she has in her yard and also near a fountain with a gargoyle statue and a small house that serves as her kitchen and dining hall. In the background is her family’s brew tanks, since elves brew their own. Roleplay possibilities are endless in a simulation world like Second Life.

Nyrva working at the local Elven brewhaus as a bar wench, dress and all. She holds a beer stein I made myself, full mesh. Also coins on the counter I made and put in the scene. I used textures from Skyrim for the coins until I make my own original coin textures.

I also did this shot of Nyrva holding a bottle of one of my favorite German beers. I love Hoffbrau, Spaten, Hacker-Pschorr- good stuff! I made a mesh bottle I can slap a few different beer labels on and in this case, Hoffbrau Oktoberfest.

And we have Nyrva outside in her bar wench dress, checking the brew tanks of the Elven Brewhaus- the beer has to keep flowing for the customers, you know!

Too exhausted to travel back home that night after a long day at work, Nyrva takes one of the beds in the Elven Brewhaus since no customers booked that room for the evening.

It’s too hot outside, and no air conditioning, so Nyrva takes it all off and sleeps in the nude in the Elven Brewhaus.

Still too hot to sleep, Nyrva sits up for awhile in the bed of the brewhaus.

A photo I snuck on a mature sim – Nyrva sitting nude on a toilet in a women’s bathroom on Second Life. I guess we now know what it looks like for a naked elf woman to sit on a toilet. lol!

If nude on the toilet isn’t enough, how about going to a so-called “Fantasy Faire” – barely anyone else was there, so I stripped Nyrva and got a few pictures.

Here’s another shot of the nude Nyrva at the so-called Fantasy Faire.

One more nude shot of Nyrva in this setting before we move on…

How about Insilico? A dead site. Nobody is ever there. One wonders how it stays open, despite looking cool, like it’s inspired by Blade Runner or something. Since nobody was around I took a few shots of Nyrva in the buff. I just think it’s fun to do. (Some people get into full BDSM and sex stuff with their toons, I just mostly take nudie pictures!)

From the same “Fantasy Faire” I shot the nude pictures of Nyrva at. What the hell do you call this shit? Nothing “Fantasy” about this. But I play an Elf in Star Trek so touche’ – but anyone wants to bitch at me about playing an elf in Star Trek sims should bitch at these guys from bringing this shit to a Fantasy sim. Make no mistake, I do like to mix sci-fi and fantasy, but this looks like a modern present day setting that got nuked or war torn or something, it doesn’t necessarily fit either one. Meh, go figure.

Another shot of this city scene. This looks more like a discombobulated Grand Theft Auto or Fallout 4 scene or something. I’m trying to picture how else this fits into either sci-fi or fantasy. Oh, well.

Poor Nyrva, she finds herself hopelessly locked in a cage. Is someone going to rescue her?

Speaking of mixing sci-fi and fantasy, I’ve been trying to get one of these soda machines in Second Life for months. I have seen this machine at Insilico and one other place only and they are otherwise impossible to find. And I can’t get the maker/seller to respond to me to sell me one. I do have a couple of the soda cans. I love the girl used for the picture, the Asian-looking girl as the “space elf” whipping the finger with the can of root beer in her hand. I guess putting my Wood Elf in a Star Trek sim by definition makes her a “space elf” so I am essentially playing one.

Kind of a general nude pose of Nyrva sitting at a friend’s place in a mainland sim area. My friend was building his own sci-fi ship in the background- not related to any branded sci-fi, which I can respect. At least it would be truly his own. (the colors are for establishing mesh faces)

A gratuitous nude shot of Nyrva laying out. She lays naked in an undisclosed location.

Sometimes I just do gratuitous nudes for no reason. Another shot of Nyrva laying nude.

I figured to show one more naughty shot from this set before moving on…. Nyrva again, lying nude in an undisclosed location. (I just say undisclosed location- it’s nowhere special, not important, who cares? etc.)

Nyrva sitting in ruins at a mainland location I held until recently (that I now have up for sale as of this posting.)

Another angle of Nyrva sitting nude in the ruins, just taking in the fresh air. Wood Elves are people of nature I guess?

Nyrva on location at the Darkwood Castle sim. I go here and poke around once in a while. I don’t really play here, I like fantasy but I’m not into BDSM stuff either IRL or in video games.

I have Nyrva here posed with two of my characters from World of Warcraft in Second Life. I figure if I ever quit WoW I can still play with my monk and rogue in SL as characters there.

Another shot of Nyrva posed with my monk and rogue from World of Warcraft.

In this shot Nyrva stands nude with the monk and rogue for the shot.

Nyrva stands nude as she continues to pose with my monk and rogue from World of Warcraft… (The pandas have no interest in the elf that way, they are just her friend I guess if you want to ask “that” question! lol! Nyrva is simply a character that is posed nude for pictures, put simply.)

Here we are back at the Fantasy Faire from earlier in the blog, Nyrva isn’t nude this time- wearing her best Wood Elf outfit.

I never could decide if I wanted Nyrva to be a mother or not in my fiction. I got her this pregnant belly in Second Life for some shoots of course for conceptual depictions of the idea. But I never decided what I wanted her fate to be in my novel- motherhood, marriage, death- a lot of that is still up in the air. Nevertheless, here she stands in this picture, nude and knocked-up.

This was original character art I did of Nyrva pregnant. Again, I could never decide what I wanted her ultimate fate to be, whether I wanted this for her or not. Since Wood Elves are a dying race in my story, it would be important for someone like Nyrva, especially as a female, to have a child with a male Wood Elf to help preserve the race. But it’s still undecided what I want to do with this character in my fiction I’ve been writing about her over the years. There’s still some back story I need to develop as well which has changed over time as I have developed the character. In any case- here is an original drawing by me of the pregnant, nude, Nyrva.

Nyrva of the tribe of Dragonwood. A female Wood Elf. She was an original character I created in 1997 and I also create original art of her. It has been awhile since I have attempted to update her appearance, I would like to work on doing so to make her a bit less “anime” looking when I get some time. Or at least have a version of her that is non-Anime, along side the “anime” depiction of her. I suppose that’s what I do with Second Life and Skyrim- imagining the character in more realistic and life-like forms with the virtual formats. But Nyrva is my own original character I created for my own fictional writing efforts and I have used her in game play along the way. Here she stands gazing towards the sky. But in this picture I attempted to make a background with stones, fake grass and sticks- I’m not sure it turned out like I wanted. I suck at drawing landscapes and I didn’t want to use someone else’s work- give me credit for being honest about it anyways.

This is one of my male alts in Second Life dressed in his “special agent/MiB” suit where I have him next to a Polybius machine at a virtual arcade in Second Life. The depiction is to play on a popular urban legend from 1981 in Portland Oregon about this alleged game, not confirmed to actually have existed (but sometimes you wonder.) I decided to have fun with my alt when I saw this machine.

MORE TO COME…

It’s been awhile since I posted a blog, and I actually have a lot more stuff to share but I must close this one due to the length already. I may attempt to write shorter blogs more often with more goodies and stuff about my hobbies or whatever I feel like posting, hopefully less bitching about what I don’t like. But I wanted to say something about the new Star Trek because I’m tired of these studios butchering stuff I like.

I will close this blog for now and begin work on the next blog, hopefully post it soon with more pics and stuff to talk about. Until then… God bless!

See ya!
